Call it an irony, but most of Boyapati Sreenu’s films so far had two heroines. While the main heroines walk away with meaty roles, Boyapati also gives a decent justification to the second heroine’s role to make it more crucial to the films’ story. He maintained this two heroines sentiment in his latest film Sarrainodu too.
And here’s a strange sentiment hidden in Boyapati’s two heroines sentiment. While Boyapati always chooses an in-demand heroine for the leading lady’s roles, he mostly chooses a flop heroine for the second female leads. In films like Simha, Dammu, Legend and even Sarrainodu, Boyapati roped in-demand heroines like Nayanthara, Trisha and Rakul Preet respectively.
The director then followed it up by roping in the flop heroines like Sneha Ullal, Karthika, Radhika Apte and Catherine Tresa respectively. So far, Boyapati’s two heroines sentiment not only helped the director, but also gave a fresh lease of life to those flop actresses as well.
